How to Install Resource Packs in Minecraft Windows 10 Edition

How to install resource packs:

  1. Download the resource pack you want in the .mcpack format
  2. Copy the file for the resource pack from your downloads folder
  3. Go to %appdata% in the windows search bar
  4. Click AppData in the windows file navigation bar 
  5. Go to AppData/Local/Packages/
  6. Search for minecraft in the windows file search bar
  7. Open the folder that pops up with Microsoft.MinecraftUWP in its name
  8. Go to LocalState/games/com.mojang/
  9. Create a folder called resource_packs in there
  10. Open the folder and paste the .mcpack file for the resource pack you downloaded in there.
  11. Open Minecraft
  12. Go to options, then click global resources
  13. Select the resource pack you want to use
